Roslyn likes to break down her landscape paintings into smaller rocks and grains of sand.
Balance, tension and erosion are properties she aims to portray in her works.
Her favoured medium is acrylic as she likes to be able to move the colours around on the canvas or board. Roslyn’s paintings have many layers and are beautifully textured, in part due to the use of a spatula to apply and remove paint.
Roslyn states “I hope people get a sense of location or place when viewing a painting, despite how it has been broken down”.
