Collection: Annemieke Collins

Annemieke’s eclectic style and use of semi precious gems in her Seagypsy range makes each individual piece a work of art in colour and style. Annemieke has a whimsical unfettered view of life which is evident in the jewellery pieces she creates. To own an original Seagypsy treasure is to own a wearable work of art that will make a statement in any setting. Her works typically include corals and natural turquoise, trade beads peppered with natural brass and sterling, sinarin and hilltribe silver. Many of the artefacts Annemieke uses are sourced from around the world and her focal pieces are oſten hand made OOAK, rare, collectible and antique.

‘Wings and Things’

In her latest works, ‘Wings and Things,’ Annemieke has demonstrated mastery of the art of copper plating, a process whereby copper particles are transported via electrical impulses from the source to the object. The process is laborious in the preparation and finish, and each piece takes several days to complete.

‘Wings and Things’ is a magical collection showcasing local cicadas, dragonflies and crab claws. She encapsulates the colours and spirit of Western Australia in each piece and has skilfully incorporated south seas pearls and seaglass found washed up on the western beaches alongside her signature inclusions of semi precious metals and gems and truly unique copper creations.

There is nothing ordinary about Seagypsy Treasures. This extraordinary range of jewellery is created for those who love to be unique.
