SLITHER – STRANGE CREATURES

Well I shed my skin,

Got myself a new suit,

Of snazzy scales,

Feeling good.

I reach up high,

And taste the air,

Oil, sweat and BBQ sauce,

There ain’t no doubt,

There’s humans about.

Two legged critters,

It’s wise to stay clear,

But I’ve been asleep,

And my belly’s grumbling.

Now those big hairy ones,

Are nothing but trouble,

But this one is little,

Such a lovely size.

I dislocate my jaws,

Slither on over,

So rockabye baby,

Don’t you cry,

While I open wide,

And in you slide.
