About Busselton Hospice:
For over 30 years, Busselton Hospice has been a vital part of the community, offering free end-of-life care, bereavement support, and complementary therapies. Recognized as a leader in palliative care volunteering, the hospice enables individuals to live, die, and grieve with dignity and compassion.
The hospice’s dedicated volunteers contribute more than 16,000 hours annually, providing emotional and social support to patients, carers, and families. Services include ward-based support at the local health campus, home visits through the Community Outreach Program, and individualized bereavement support at the care centre. Complementary therapy sessions, offered free of charge, provide additional comfort to those in need.
With no regular government funding, the hospice relies on community donations and fundraising initiatives to continue its vital work. As demand for palliative and bereavement services grows, financial support is critical to ensuring that everyone in the community can access compassionate care at life’s most challenging times.
By supporting the hospice, individuals and businesses help create a compassionate community where life and its end are honoured with respect and care.
