  Feature Artist : Leanne Pearson
Leanne spent her early years in South Africa and this provided her with exposure to the vibrant colourful culture, vast landscape and natural beauty of authentic Africa. Growing up in the affectionately known Rainbow Nation, Leanne had the opportunity to study under celebrated artists and their mentoring inspired Leanne to continue exploring her artistic talent and travel extensively across Europe, Central America and Canada. This further fuelled Leanne’s passion for Design and Fine Art, which prompted her to work in the design industry.

Moving to Western Australia more than a decade ago, Leanne has successfully established herself as a foremost Portraiture Artist. Colour and most importantly light, have become the key elements to her work. Through energetic brush strokes Leanne skilfully conveys her love of rhythm and movement.

Inspired to travel and with a keen sense of adventure Douglas migrated to Australia from Scotland in 1982. He embraced the challenge to paint the vastness of the Australian landscape, its light and colour, all of which contrasted to those of Europe.

Douglas states "The process and purpose of making art is my way of reasoning my position in the world whose beauty I attempt to reflect and capture".
