Detail of Yu-Ki (Snow)

  Feature Artist: Ian Mutch

Ian Mutch is a designer, artist and illustrator.  His artworks are created from a mix of drawing ink, acrylics, watercolours and spray paint.

Drawing ink is traditionally applied with a small quill, portraying a combination of dreamy characters, critters, animals, patterns, stories and random items. The resulting work holds beauty on two levels - the overall image from a distance and from a close perspective the fine detail in the paintings that is a signature to Ian's works.

Have a Nice Day!

Feature Artist: John Morris

John Morris has a background in advertising and design but his preference for pencil over the keyboard led to the sculptures in wood he is so well renowned for.  He skillfully uses leather, brass, and stainless steel to provide stark contrasts with the warm texture of the wood.

His works spring from exhaustive sketching and illustration, drawing on intensive research, be it of skeletal bone and muscular structure and/or the imagery of fashion magazines and photography.

John Morris' sculptures range from the figurative and medium sized stand-alone to large wall pieces.

Small Platter Round Platter Large Platter

Feature Artist: Rodney Blumenfeld

Born in South Africa, he graduated as an architect from the University of Natal and worked on many major projects throughout the country.

His interest in ceramics as a hobby became a fulltime occupation when the popularity of his work saw an increasing demand for his magnificent platters and vessels.

Rodney creates deeply textured, sensual and motif-laden ceramic forms. Traditional tribal motifs and earthy colours are embedded in each exclusive piece.
