Feature Artist: Jennifer Hopewell

Jennifer Hopewell’s work resonates with the patterns and colours that abound in the Australian landscape. Born in the Wheatbelt town of Cunderdin in Western Australia she finds herself captured by the vibrant colours that occur in the crops at various stages, which are quite incongruent with the rest of the colour palette. She is influenced strongly by the spontaneity of Chinese and Japanese brushwork and her work ranges from literal interpretations of the landscape to more abstract styles.

Feature Artist: Brendan Tibbs

Brendan Tibbs has worked, exhibited and studied as a jeweller in the USA, France, UK, Sweden and Japan. The oceans of Western Australia are Brendan’s current source of inspiration and his striking silver jewellery features enameling and pearls. Enameling is the art of melting powdered coloured glass onto metal to create a glass surface with colours that never fade.

Feature Artist: Anna DeJager

Anna DeJager was born in Holland and started drawing at an early age. Anna worked for twenty years as a ticket writer and commercial artist before committing fully to her painting in the last ten years. Anna’s work is a bold and vibrant display of colour depicting mostly cheery interior scenes or landscapes. Since her first solo exhibition in 1993, Anna's works have also been included in numerous group exhibition and her works are represented in many collections around the world, including Holland, Hong Kong, England, New Zealand and Germany.
